About us

The Orphan Care Center (Dreama) was established under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser. The Center was inaugurated on 10th of June 2002 and started its services effectively after Her Highness's inauguration of the Dreama Complex on May 2, 2007. The Center is operating under the umbrella of Qatar Foundation for Social Work since 2013. to read more…

Dreama’s residential care department provides shelter to orphan children in the care homes of Dreama, ensuring that all their needs are satisfied (whether health-related, physiological, educational, religious, financial etc.), in addition to providing them with all the other services they need to have a better life. Our aim is to make Dreama an alternate home to these children by trying to create a family environment that is capable of making up for the absence of a true family environment. At the same time, Dreama aspires to become a “child-free” child care home, in consistence with our belief that a real family is the best environment for raising a child

Field visit the families who requested to be an alternative family for a child of unknown parents, to conduct a social and physiological study of the family situation,Following up the conditions of foster children including: (social, psychological, legal, educational, health), and Providing support and aid through the involvement of these families in finding solutions in case of facing any difficulties or emergency.
